Join us for the Roots and Reformation Conference, which provides insight into the historical roots of Christianity on the African continent, celebrates the impact of the Christian Reformation in Africa, and promotes the ongoing biblical influence of the Reformation within the local church. This Conference is designed to gather shepherds and local churches for a time of expositional preaching, a special pastor's Q&A session, workshops, and fellowship aimed at strengthening local-church ministry and exploring global-church partnerships.

A focused day of expositional preaching, a special pastors Q&A, and fellowship.  We will reflect on Christianity’s roots on the African continent, celebrate the Reformation’s influence in Africa, and apply those truths to faithful shepherding in our local churches especially in urban contexts.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Registration has not yet opened.

  • Yes, wives and children are welcome and encouraged to attend the Roots and Reformation General Conference on Saturday.  The conference is designed to strengthen the entire local church.  Do note, however, that the Pastor's Pre-conference on Friday is specifically geared towards men with the purpose of ministering to pastors, elders, and lay leaders of local churches.

  • To keep costs low for everyone, registration reserves a seat and lunch. Little ones under 5 who sit on a parent’s lap and don’t need lunch are warmly welcome at no cost.

    Note: unfortunately, we will not be able to offer à la carte pricing. Under-5s who need a meal and older children who need a seat but are not eating both still need a paid registration.

  • Yes, we will notify you with a confirmation email immediately after you have registered. If there are any issues, try completing your registration on a different device or contact us at registration@rootsandreformation.org.

    Additional details will be emailed in the weeks leading up to the conference. Be sure to add both info@rootsandreformation.org and registration@rootsandreformation.org to your address book.

  • You do not need to register for the breakout sessions. Please note that while we are going to do our best to accommodate everyone as best as room sizes/ fire code allows, breakout session seating will be first come, first served.

  • If your registration has not been accepted or you encounter a technical problem, contact us at registration@rootsandreformation.org. Check your junk/spam folder for confirmation emails before seeking assistance.

  • You may cancel up to 2 weeks prior to the conference. There is a $25 processing fee for cancellations. No refunds will be issued after that date. Refund requests must be sent by the registered attendee to registration@rootsandreformation.org.

    Changes to registrations can be made up to two weeks prior to the conference by emailing registration@rootsandreformation.org.

    Requests for changes or transfers must be submitted by the registered attendee.

    Please note that once a registration has been transferred or changed, it is no longer refundable.
